FOUNDER & MANAGING DIRECTOR

ATAMAN Corporate Finance was established in late 2018. Gokce Ataman, the founder and managing director, has ca. 20 years of experience in financial services industry, mainly in mergers and acquisitions and asset management. Before establishing ATAMAN Corporate Finance in 2018, Gokce was a director of Mergers & Acquisitions at Pragma Corporate Finance in Istanbul, where he worked for eight and a half years and engaged in more than 30 projects including sell-side or buy-side M&A mandates, equity partner searches and debt advisory projects. Prior to joining Pragma, Gokce served as Vice President of Risk Management at Highbridge Capital Management, a leading hedge fund in New York between 2004 and 2009.

Gokce has a BSc degree in Industrial Engineering from Bogazici University in Istanbul and an MBA degree from University of Maryland, College Park, Maryland, USA.

Gokce’s M&A industry experience mainly covers technology, electricity generation and distribution, machinery & equipment, automotive parts, financial services, metals & foundries and chemicals industries.
